VMAN Nick Krause

VMAN: Who represents masculinity to you? Who’s your male icon? Who’s your personal hero?

NICK: Albert Einstein. All three. He lacked physical strength but excelled with the power and the discipline of his mind. He saw the world as new every day of his life and spent his entire time on this earth trying to improve it. That’s masculinity. That’s an icon. That’s my hero.

COVER STORY...ROBERT PATTINSON

I'm sure all of you TWILIGHTers are dying over this dreamy cover of Robert Pattinson on AnOtherMan Magazine November issue(s). I first saw this cover two weeks ago at Colette in Paris. I regret not buying it! This is one of those classic iconic photos you see of actors. Very James Dean!

Robert was photographed by former designer and creator of Dior Homme, Hedi Slimane.

THOM BROWNE SKORT FOR MEN

Thom Browne an American born fashion designer, began with a more traditional start, having come from Club Monaco to starting his own line in 2001. Since then Thom has used  high-water pants and shrunken jackets in his line as his trademark look.

Now Thom is taken on the SKORT. A look that you wouldn't "normally" pair with a suit jacket but most likely seen on a woman tennis player.

In a way I'm sort of in love with this oddly fitted collection but would I wear it? Is it functional in everyday life? Some pieces I say yes and some ABSOLUTELY not!

I do LOVE that Thom used BLONDE HAWTIE Luke Worall!!!

PERFECT OUTFIT FOR THE DAY: ANDREW GARFIELD

I caught up with my friend Andrew Garfield for lunch, today was a particularly HOT day in Hollywood, upper 90's. So after we ate and Andrews blood sugar was back to normal, I asked him if he would be my subject for "PERFECT OUTFIT FOR THE DAY" and he agreed.

The thing about Andrew's outfit is that not one single article of clothing or accessory is that "special." What's special is that once he puts it all together his choices turn into this effortlessly COOL and COMFORTABLE look that Andrew has a special knack for always pulling off.  Kudo's to you Garfield!

Andrew is wearing a Hulk Hogan vintage wrestling tee. Shoes: Royal Blue Vans. Sunglasses: by Ray-Bans. Hat: Black fadora by H&M. Watch: from Top Man. Pants:by Clemens en August.

ONE IN MY SIZE, PLEASE!

So if you have no idea who I am and I assure you that you probably don't but the few people that follow me know that I pretty much have one go-to look. That's anything black and my #1 goto is my trench coat by Nom De Guerre. So its no wonder that I fell in love with this Japanese clothing line called S,Eprimer.

Trench Coat featured in picture above.

I meeeeean! She needs to be in my closet like asap!

GQ ASKED THE BIG QUESTION... WHY ARE WE AFARID OF A NAKED MAN

GQ Style Magazine has put out The Naked issue and right in time for summer. Just kidding. But seriously, this does get me inspired to hit the gym a little harder... hehe I said harder. No this really is a great article. Addressing why men have such a huge problem with other naked men? Why can women complement each other's bodies all day long? They can say things like, "You have such nice breasts," "She has a great ass. I love her body," and nobody bats and eye or passes judgment. Why cant men admire other men's physiques with out it being sexual? Why is acknowledging another man's body so gay? It's a great issue for both men and women. I really recommend taking a look. Don't worry, your not "GAY" if you do.

GET READY FOR THE FLOOD Y'ALL

This spring its time to roll up those pants. The high-water trouser shows no sign of receding. If you paid any attention to the mens spring/summer '08 collections you might have notice the 2 to 4 inch rise in mens pants. I used to rock this look in 2nd grade. I think it's hot for now. I don't think it will make its way into our summer of '09 so rock it now; I will be. You're welcome. The four pictures are of work from the designers that decided to ride this trend wave: Comme Des Garcons, D&G, Neil Barrett, Obedient Sons.
