Hair stylist to the stars Aaron Light celebrated his birthday at H.Wood's Tea Room on Wednesday night.
Mr. Scissor hands had a lot to celebrate "do" to his crazy busy year - from being on a world tour with pop star Katy Perry to running the hair department for the Emmy Award-winning show "United States Of Tara". So Happy Birthday!
Psss, I hear your 30's aren't that scary. Just ask Perez!
Who does her hair? Where did she get that dress? Who does her make-up ?
Don't worry I have the answers to all your questions. As we know, Katy is always changing up her look. Whether she is going for the hard-edge bob on the cover of Complex Magazine or doing more of a glamorous look with soft curls like she did for the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in London.
Q: Who does her hair?
A: Celebrity hair stylist Aaron Light ( Amazing soft curls!)
Q: Who does her make-up
A: Giving Katy the dark lip geisha for the Japan MTV Video Awards to the deep red glamour girl look seen here in the picture above is none other then Todd Delano. (beat that face, child!)
Q: Where did she get that dress?

So last night I get a text from Katy Perry to come join her for drinks in West Hollywood. I was already out to dinner at my favorite go-to restraunt in LA, Dominick's. I was dinning with fellow hero Shannon Woodward, hero boyfriend Andrew Garfield, and also present was hairstylist Aaron Light.
Katy was having dinner with Dita Von Teese and her bff make-up artist Gregory Arlt at Sur in WeHo.
Dita whored out this beautiful Christian Dior coat with beaded sleeves and the best envelope pockets. Simply Deeeeevine!
Birthday girl Katy Perry came as the late Freddie Mercury. While Capitol's very own Angelica Cobb came as Jacki O. Oooo what a grand time we had!
Hair stylist Aaron Light went as Andy Warhol. Singer Ferras went has David Bowie from The Labyrinth. DJ Mia Moretti being a muse in her own right came as Andie Warhol's muse Eddie Sedgwick.
Male model Rob Williams won the $1,000 dollar check for best costume. He went as Flava Flav. Congratulations Rob!
I really didn't follow Katy's rule on coming as someone dead in life or in career, Hollywood- wise. John and I, in a last minute costume change went as the dead poo from the critically-acclaimed, high art film "2 girls, 1 cup."
Tonight my assistant Jonathan and my DJ Mia Moretti, along with miss Marcy, decided to go over to Katy Perry's hair stylist Aaron Light's house and have us a dinner and a movie night. We had wine and ordered Italian. We listened to music by Grand Marnier, Yelle, and Duffy. All perfect for a dinner party. The movie of choice was Valley Of The Dolls. Soooooo Goood.
